SOLUTIONS FOR YOUR HEALTH

Share |

The following solutions can benefit your health and well-being and increase your energy
levels. Supporting some of these solutions will also help in reducing the problems within the
Health Industry and within society. When you start to feel great, eat great, and enjoy life, this
spreads to others and they will ask you about the things you have done. As you share your
knowledge, this cycle repeats itself until all the problems in the society relating to health
disappear. So start now and spread these solutions to others.

You don’t have to do all these items at once but I highly recommend doing as many as you
can…

Solution #1: Avoid the latest fad in diets - look into pursuing a healthy lifestyle. Stop
chasing a dreamy commercial ad or magazine cover. Many fad diets starve your body of
essential nutrients which can make things worse. Instead follow the “solutions for your food”
section later in this chapter. A healthy diet will bring your body to a healthy weight, will
remove excess fat, and promote healthy muscle growth.

Solution #2: Start seeing a homeopathic or naturopathic doctor - explain to them any health concerns you have. These doctors will help heal your body from the inside out and can
provide thorough recommendations on how to correct your health issues naturally. Many of
them can also perform tests to determine any nutritional deficiencies and/or metal toxicities
that you have in your system.

Solution #3: Find Some Enjoyable Exercise  – we aren’t meant to sit in front of computers
and tvs all day. Your body needs stimulation. If you don’t like to exercise, you can still come
up with fun activities to participate in. If you bounce on a large trampoline for 5 minutes a
day, this can help stimulate all your major organs including your heart rate. Other fun
activiies could include hiking, or climbing, mountain biking, buying the Nintendo WII Fitness program or the Xbox drumkit for Rockband, or a even a real drumkit, or dancing,
swimming, or rollerblading.

Solution #4: Do more walking, drive less – The average US citizen only walks 1/10th
of a mile a day. Take the stairs, park your car further away from the entrances. If you are going down the street, walk instead of drive. Driving your car is stressful for your body as it makes your body tense in high traffic. Ride a bike or walk when you can.

Solution #5: Learn about PH – PH is a ratio that determines whether an item or environment
is acidic or alkaline. Disease can not survive in an alkaline state. Learn about how to balance
the PH level of your body through diet and nutrition. Many books are available at your local
book store on the subject. Add the end of tis section, we will also give a summary of how PH
functions.

Solution #6: Take more deep breaths – This calms your system and allows it to function
better. You don’t have to do yoga or meditate daily but when stressed out at home or at work
just take deep breaths and close your eyes for a minute or so.

Solution #7: Reduce/Eliminate drug intake (when possible) – antibiotics, anti-
inflammatories, and other prescription and non-prescription drugs should be considered last
resort. If you visit a doctor in many other countries, this practice is common. The healthier
you make your body through good food intake and exercise, the less likely you will need
these drugs. Also, if you smoke cigarettes or take any narcotics, quit.

Solution #8: Filter your Water – they make water filters for your faucets, your shower, and
even for your whole house . Check http://www.consumersearch.com/ for some reviews on
various products.

Solution #9: Filter your Breathing Air – Look into getting a Hepa air filter either for your
bedroom or for your whole house. Also, if you work in an office, get a small one for your
desk. These filters eliminate 99.9% of allergens, bacteria, and other contaminants that might
be floating around in the air and can be an additional and very effective wall of defense for
you immune system. Also, get the air vents in your house cleaned at least once a year and
make sure you have a good clean filter in your HVAC system.

Solution #10: Wash your Hands – You don’t have to be a neat freak about it. Just remember to wash your hands before leaving the bathroom and wash your hands before you eat.

Solution #11: Get some sun – Sun is good for your body and your skin. 20 minutes a day in
direct sunlight with no sunglasses and no sun tan lotion is plenty but some is always better
than none. Remember anything you put on your skin absorbs into your blood stream in 8
seconds. Be wary of what you place on your skin.

Solution #12: Smile more – Smile, laugh, be thankful, think positive, speak positive, look at
the bright side. You don’t have to believe in Karma or go all religious on me but happy
people are always more fun than a negative Nancy.

Solution #13: Add some Plants – Add some live plants to the décor of your house and your
bedroom. Plants take in the air that you breathe out and expel oxygen for you.

Solution #14: Replace air fresheners – If you use air fresheners in your home or car, replace them with natural remedies like citrus oil or aromatheraoy products or something similar. You want to avoid the aerosols and avoid as much as possible any unnecessary chemicals in your breathing air.

Solution #15: Get more Sleep, but not too much – Your body heals itself while you are
sleeping. The ideal hours of sleep per night is 8, no more and no less. The ideal time to sleep
is 10pm-6am. Obviously, not everyone can fit into this schedule but if you are only sleeping
6 hours a night, trust me, it will catch up to you eventually.Solution #16: Replace your alarm clock – Abrupt piercing alarm clocks disrupt and shock your system. This is one of the main reasons people feel tired in the morning. There are alarm clocks available called “Progressive Alarm Clocks”. Some work by slowly lighting the room, other work by slowly increasing the volume of the alarm. They even make watches that monitor your heart rate and wake you up at the appropriate time. This is a far better investment than a trip to Starbucks.

Solution #17: Limit exposure to News and TV Commercials – If you haven’t noticed,
almost all news on TV and in newspapers is always about some tragic event or some
frightening situation. Just turn it off and tune it out. There is no need to sit through 30
minutes of “Oh my… wow… I cant believe it! Whats going to happen next?” Use that time
instead to read a book. As for television, every other commercial is a commercial for a “drug
that cures all your problems”. I don’t know about you but I don’t really enjoy willingly
sitting through 30-60 second sales pitches for products I don’t need.

Solution #18: Reduce debts – Come up with a plan to reduce your debt. Debt leads to stress and stress leads to disease. You don’t need those fancy shoes or that brand new car. Instead invest in your self and invest in your health.

Solution #19: Get a Massage – A good massage therapist will find knots in your muscles and
will push them out. If you work on a computer a lot you can probably feel the knots behind
your right should blade. A massage therapist can clear these out for you. Women generally
need more work done around their neck area while men tend to need it more in their lower
back and shoulders.

Solution #20: Stand up and Stretch – Stretch your muscles. Get up and move around. It
promotes positive blood flow.

Solution #21: Morning Glass of Water – When you wake up in the morning drink a large
glass of water as the first thing you do. Your body is most likely a bit dehydrated from not
eating or drinking all night so replenish it first thing in the morning with some water and do
not skip breakfast.

Solution #22: Write down your Goals – Writing down your ideas and your goals then
mapping them out and completing them like a checklist is very satisfying. This is good for
your well being and will provide much more happiness to your life.

Solution #23: Create a Library – Buy books and start building a healthy library of
information. It doesn’t matter what you read about. Try to learn something new each day.
Many older people will live long lives because they keep their minds active and continue to
do daily critical thinking about different subjects. Start learning about your body, your food,
your medicine, and everything around you and take action to live a healthy lifestyle through
educating your mind.
