- Build a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)
- Throw away your Soundblaster
- If the keyboard comes with an elephant noise, dont buy it
- REMEMBER: Presets SUCK! Make your own.
- Buy a keyboard with knobs
- Grooveboxes are toys. Spend you money elsewhere.
- EQ out 300hz --> that frequency is evil!
- Buy books... Read them!
- Stop using other people's samples. It sounds better when you make your own.
- I dont know about you, but I wouldnt feel comfortable using a program with the words "fruity" in it
- Every sound should have a reason for being there
- Less is More. Silence is your friend.
- If you dont understand what a compressor does, you shouldn't be telling people you make electronic music.
- If you have to be on drugs to understand it... can it!
